Conquest

Taking a village on Travikas is stock Travian plus two hard rules: the population must stay above zero, and the winning army does not walk home.

Stock Travian

Chiefs reduce loyalty. At 0 the village flips. The attacking army usually turns around. Catapults that zero a village just make a ruin.

Travikas

Same loyalty math, but session restore replaces 24/7 regen. If catapults zero population the tile is destroyed and nobody gets it. On a successful take, the conquering army stays.

Preconditions

  • A normal attack, not a raid.
  • At least one Senator / Chief / Chieftain survives.
  • You have the culture points and a free expansion slot on the sending village.
  • The target is not the owner’s last village, not a capital, not a WW-plan village.
  • The target’s Palace or Residence is already down.
  • Population still greater than 0 after the catapults.

Loyalty per surviving chief

TribeRandom per chief
Romans20–30
Teutons / Gauls20–25

Then +5 if you have a big celebration, −5 if they do, divided by the moral bonus (weaker defender means less drop). A Teuton attacker with a Brewery halves the result. Do not brew if you came to chief.

On loyalty ≤ 0

Owner flips. Loyalty 0. Tech and smithy wiped. Troops in the village zeroed. Outgoing reinforcements and trade routes deleted. Oases released. Wall gone. If you have more total population than the loser (and the target is not Natar), most buildings drop one level; Brewery, Trapper, and Horse Drinking Trough go to 0. The defender’s hero dies and is moved to their capital. Your army stays.

How to hit it

Knock loyalty with fat waves that return. Last wave: chiefs plus a token escort, after the Palace is down, after you have confirmed pop will survive. Between windows the village will not regen loyalty if session restore already fired. A village with no Residence/Palace restores zero — that is the real “open” state.
